I would’ve preferred they left out the Pepsi story tbh But great documentary
I mean, I heard the story before but. Damn you Pepsi
I was never a Michael Jackson "fan". I didn't DIS-like him; I just didn't listen to his music. But after watching this, I can say I'm truly amazed at Jackson's artistry, ability, and how he pushed himself to excel even when it seemed like the deck was stacked against him. I mean, honestly, there are few (if any) words that can express what this film reveals: He was essentially a prodigy that was years ahead of his own time, and his music singlehandedly changed the world. I never screamed for him at a concert (and never would have), nor did I wear his jackets, and I didn't cry during his funeral: he was literally "just another pop artist"...until I watched this. Whether you're a fan of his music or not, I can recommend this to ANYONE simply because of what a fascinating and world-changing performer Michael Jackson was. This film only touches the surface (because it revolves around ONLY his _Thriller_ album) but it gives you a glimpse of just what a massive difference in music, arts, performing, and even society in general that Jackson's artistry made.
Yea, I loved this. Seeing John Landis hold up a picture of him, Michael Jackson and Mickey at Disney World is worth it alone.
Certain parts of this documentary were definitely all over the place but it was good. Hoping for thriller 50 they just give us behind the scenes footage and studio videos, cause tbh that’s what we really want
