Great movie, I like to watch it from time to time. Back in those years Cuba Gooding Jr.'s career was on the rise, too bad he didn't fly as high as he probably could, great actor, very charismatic.

This is a little boxing movie that came out in 1992. I remember that the High School Office had book covers with the movie poster on it, advertising it. I never saw it in the theaters but the first time I saw it was a video store screener copy… man did it have so many trailers and commercials for other movies… which were like $79.99 a pop for Video Rental Stores… but back to the movie. Honestly this is a hidden gem of a boxing movie along with The Power of One (1992). It has a great soundtrack and a better storyline than most boxing movies. You have Cuba Gooding Jr., Robert Loggia, Brian Dennehy, James Marshall, Jon Seda, Ossie Davis, and Carla Bruno in the cast. It is a solid film one that if it comes on… you can just sit down and watch and enjoy the journey.
