a well-produced documentary with solid pacing and a polished presentation. Unfortunately, it doesn’t bring much new to the table and eventually gets lost in conspiracy theories that undermine the whole thing. A missed opportunity for a case that deserved better.

I've been watching Charles Manson material, pretty much my entire life trying to understand how even with LSD he could be so charismatic that people would murder for him. I enjoyed this film greatly. They do a nice job of crime scene investigating and archival footage with Manson, and he really was quite full of himself.

It might have been a good documentary if they went deeper, which you cannot achieve in a single 1h30 movie. If you're already familiar with the overall Manson story there's nothing new or exciting here.
