تصدم مراهقة بسيارتها أحد المباني، ما يتسبب في مقتل حبيبها وصديقه؛ حادثٌ يبدو مأساويًا في ظاهره، لكنه يتحول إلى قضية قتل في هذا الوثائقي.

Man! Her parents are the as aloof and tone deaf as she is. As I watched this, the Shrilla’s remind he of that father in the Natalia Grace story
Something unlikeable McKenzie and her mother, oblivious to the feelings of the families of the two boys who were killed.
I originally rated this a 7/10, but after looking into things more, I changed it to a 3/10 instead. I remembered seeing this incident in the news when it originally happened a few years ago, and while watching the documentary I noticed there were several things I remembered being reported that never made it into the film. At first, I thought it was a pretty solid documentary, which is why I gave it a 7. But afterward, I ended up doing a deep dive online to refresh my memory on the details that were left out, and I came across a lot of newer information about the incident, including statements from people who were close to the victims and criticisms of some of the people interviewed in the documentary. After looking into all of that, I honestly feel like the filmmakers did a poor job handling this story. Some of the interviews seriously damaged the documentary’s credibility for me. For example, I wouldn’t trust a word Rosie or Bubba said throughout the documentary.
I don’t have the all the facts, but it seems like there are some unanswered questions regarding Mackenzie’s POTS. I’m not going to run through the questions I have, but there is enough room there for me to have reasonable doubt that the prosecution proved she intended to murder her passengers. She should have gone for a trial by jury. I think the documentary leaned into some moral judgements too much, and lacked a critique of her defense. I have a lot of notes for the parents as well, but I think she needs a new trial. Obviously it’s tragic, as all youth deaths are.
How are he parents so out of touch, EVEN if she didn’t cause th crash purposely they let her get away with SO MUCH because “[they] know when [their] daughter is lying”
