At under an hour and a half, this is the slowest, most boring movie I have seen in a long time. Half the movie is people saying goodnight, the other half is them walking around. There is some interesting camera work. The music sounds exactly like that of another horror movie, but I can't place it. Some of the acting is pretty bad. Far too much throwaway dialog - also doesn't help that it's in Italian. Characters are not fleshed out. Romance is shoehorned in. As much as I love period gothic horror, this is much more of a mystery with a splash of horror. Just such a cliche waste of time. Not recommended.
