[IFFR '25] It establishes an interesting dynamic that addresses the loyalty and obsession of the servant Đuko for his Master, taking elements inspired by historical figures from Montenegro. Its foray into themes of identity connects with the current reality, that of forced displacement and the sense of belonging based on a collective identity that is vulnerable. The story raises issues that are relevant from a contemporary point of view, but is harmed by its own austerity. Although it manages to create an atmosphere of stillness that, once the viewer is caught by its particular cadence, is quite captivating.
