>*"You want Halloween? This is Halloween!"* What a fun Halloween treat! I couldn't help but compare it to *Haunt* and *Hell Fest* and while it clearly has a lower budget it's just as enjoyable. It has that Halloween spirit with all the sets, endless decorations and colorful lighting. The characters do the job, they're funny and the friendship theme gave them a bit of heart. It's not laugh out loud comedy but I chuckled quite often and the tone is on point. Nothing spectacular but they gave in the effort for the kills, they were all satisfying. Didn't see any cheap CGI, all practical. Characters put up a fight too, really enjoyed that running away from the killer sequence. Favorite moment involves a hand going through someone. Simple score but it does the job at giving it extra energy. A few twists I didn't expect. Really good third act, all I wanted was for it to be longer and have more kills. Loved the message with the ending.
