I watched this with my cat and I swear he looked at me weird, I think this movie's onto something. A very weird watch (not as weird as *House* but almost there), so funny, wild and entertaining. Such a good-looking movie, I don't know if it's just old or if they made it look like that on purpose but I love the unclear image with the bright colors. Very loud score, too much slowmo for it's own good, impressive use of puppets and nice practical effects especially for the blob creature and the kills. That cat vs. dog fight was INTENSE, like *X-Men* MMA on steroids. It really turned into an action movie for a while which surprised me, lots of gunfire, explosions, people being electrocuted... a merge of genres. Not sure what was happening with the story honestly but it was weird as hell. Lynchian third act and ending.
