There are bad cheesy shark movies and there are good cheesy shark movies. Fortunately this falls on the good side of the line. The film does dramatically slow down when it asks the audience to care about the unnecessary character backstory’s and conflicts. Luckily that stuff takes a backseat to the sharky goodness. Would Recommend

Had it all!A high-intensity, high-emotion thrill-filled film with lots of elements to keep you at the edge of your seat. This film will have you angry, smiling, and crying throughout the film. This film does an excellent job of making you root for characters while also hating others. This film has a little bit of everything that anyone can enjoy.

Great setup, mid execution. Crash hits, everything after is just okay. Easy one-time watch

“What if we took the sharks from sharknado and put them in a dramatic film that’s supposed to pull on people’s heartstrings?” And that’s how they came up with this movie. Acting was good, believability, was very much not. There’s no world in which sharks would behave like that. Not even close.

What in the seven seas have I just seen? From the director of Deep Blue Sea, I was expecting a sloppy but fun thriller, and it's definitely sloppy to say the least. It started off sort of strong with its 90s B-movie atmosphere, and then it strangely got too melodramatic and far too predictable. The visuals look regurgitably cheap, and the story genuinely feels like something spewed straight out of ChatGPT. There are almost no real stakes, even with the number of character developments. Considering how long it's been, I should've just rewatched Deep Blue Sea.
