I like Guy Ritchie movies, but his movies follow the same tone - 1. Fast paced scenes 2. Humans who lack emotional depth, act like robots (re: Eliza Gonzalez not showing any remorse over her dead partner) 3. Heist 4. All going well for the protagonists then them hitting a roadblock and everything goes well for them again in the end. Its gotten kind of boring tbh. And was it just me or them both calling her "Mum" was cringe as hell.

Finally, a Guy Ritchie movie that remembers how to have fun. 🔥 Look, I went into In the Grey expecting standard straight-to-streaming filler, but this thing absolutely rips. Jake Gyllenhaal and Henry Cavill have the kind of effortless "bromance" chemistry that makes you wish they’d do a dozen sequels. They play these grizzled fixers who are terrifyingly good at their jobs but also weirdly domestic and hilarious with each other. The plot is simple (get the money, escape the island), but Ritchie keeps the adrenaline pumping with slick editing and a killer soundtrack. It doesn't take itself too seriously, but it never tips into being a parody. If you miss the days of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. or just want two hours of pure, stylish escapism with zero fat on the bone, this is your movie.

Maybe one of the worst movies of Ritchie, for a movie of 90 minutes i sure got a lot of bored. You had 20 minutes doing the evac routes over and over! the main story was a bit confusing with all the non-explaining financial jargon and just like that you can siege a boat, why didn't the do that in the first attempt? No explanations of the why. action was a bit ok, Cavill and Jake Gyllenhaal had great chemistry. Gonzalez her beauty is from another planet. Only see this if you want to check your girlfriend's reaction to be "Her? Very average, everything is fake on her"
