Too late for the Vietnam.

Not sure what the message of this movie is supposed to be, it gives off a bit conflicting signals. Still, it was nice to see all these great actors before they got huge. Feels like it's meant to be based on a true story but the fact that it isn't is a little underwhelming

Great performance from Farrell, but I found the story lacking.
