First of all It only became interesting after the first 18 episodes. Animation was good but the story makes no sense. Ending was confusing and again makes no sense. First half was very repetitive which decreases the enthusiasm to watch further. The entire shows was bit on the dull side with only a few episodes worth watching.

This game adapted into an anime tends to kill important characters, not resolve their deaths. The writers seem to have been inspired by The Time Machine, Doki Doki Literature Club, and above all else their boners. Generally, the writers seem like a bunch of dark folks who wanted to bestow suffering upon everyone who played this game/watched this anime. They didn't want anyone to walk away with closure, and the stories end is shoehorned into a ~2-minute scene at the end. I was hate-watching half way through because I was so bitter the writers would do this to me and thought they would fix it. They didn't.

Many plot twists, many emotion swings and so on. I wouldn't call it bad, but it kinda ended on a bad note for me, still enjoyed it though.
