Récemment divorcé, le jeune réalisateur David Howard revient vivre à Stockholm où il retrouve un ami d’enfance, Markus. Il revoit également la femme de ce dernier, Marianne, et leur fille Isabelle, qui lui voue une vive affection. [SVT] It proposes a change of point of view on the film that works from a current perspective, especially to reinforce the view of Marianne as a more real character rather than the idealized form she has in the film. It is a formally exquisite series that takes care of the staging and turns each frame into an emotional representation of the characters. But it is also more indulgent with the protagonists, avoiding the end of the original story to address issues such as forgiveness in a deeper sense.
