Although the episodes are short, the series gets lost in some dead-end shortcuts and seems unable to develop more complex narrative lines. Starting the story halfway seems like a device to pretend that the plot is much more complex than it really is, but what it ultimately achieves is to convey a certain narrative chaos that doesn't actually exist.
