One of the best historical K-dramas you'll ever see, and I can say that from experience, as I've watched a lot of them. The main character, Gil-chae, is sublime, a strong woman with a lot of character who proves it from start to finish, and she has a spectacular development. You can see how she matures. The actress is perfect, in my opinion. Jang-hyun's character is perfect, although there were moments when I had to get up from my chair, but then he would turn it around and compensate everything. He has also had an incredible evolution. I think all the characters have their own evolution and personality... which is very difficult to achieve. The series has humor, but without being stupid, and maintains a balance between maturity, seriousness, and exquisite romance (mature and delicate). [spoiler] It deals with very difficult issues such as s*xual and power ab*se, mental illness, overcoming adversity, etc. The ending is perfect, a balm for the heart. The only thing I missed was knowing how and why Ryang Eum was put into prison... a little more context on that, that's all. But you can guess why... I cant sedcribe how much impact this show left in my seaul and heart, its been a long time since I felt intersted to a kdrama or just finished one, I started it randomly.. I didnt know it will ended up with this feelings and love I have for it now, forever my top one kdrama,but the question is why? disnt I watch a lot of them.. its been years since I started this beautiful curse.. but this one has all of it.. tragidy.. love.. friendship.. sacrifysing.. history.. just perfect.. also lee jang hyun .. how he loved guil cheel unconditionally.. Its my first time seeing this type of men.. I was like.. this is my type.. he didnt care about anything but her he was ready to sacrifice anything for her and the most important thing..he didnt give up on her..she was his home .. I know I will die before finding such a man like him.. so I will stay single forever .. words failed me .. but everything with this serie amazed me and Im in love with it ❤

I thought I wouldn't like it very much, but. The love we watched in this drama is so beautiful. I falled for this love. It's not real, but I felt this love in the deep of my heart. ❤
