Les tentatives d'Oswald « Oz » Cobb de prendre le contrôle de Gotham City. La ville est en danger suite à l'effondrement de la digue qui la protégeait et Oz cherche à combler le vide laissé par la mort du puissant Carmine Falcone et ainsi enfin offrir à sa mère, Francis, la vie qu'il lui a toujours promise. Cependant, Oz doit d'abord affronter ses ennemis, parmi lesquels les enfants de Carmine, Sofia et Alberto Falcone; la famille Maroni, dirigée par Salvatore, son patriarche actuellement sous les verrous ; et la réputation démoralisante d'Oz lui-même, que l'on surnomme « le Pingouin ».

Gotham looks absolutely dirty, depressing and utterly fucked in just the right way.
went in with low expectations since every show nowadays is woke garbage and appeasing to a certain audience. I WAS BLOWN AWAY with how good this is. it's literally chef's kiss. From the atmosphere to the dialog to the setups and payoffs. I really hope it doesn't get cancelled after the first season like a lot of shows.
Now this is what good TV is all about! I was hooked from the first few minutes, what a fantastic portrayal of Penguin by Colin Farrell, and boy you've got to love that plum Masarati 😁 Can't wait to see how this plays out, for me it's a rock solid 10/10 and truly unmissable 👍
holy shit the quality of this show is high. everything is so good,soundtrack,cinematography,the acting,the camera work.
Similar to the recent Joker movie, The Penguin strips away the comic book silliness of the villain and grounds them in reality, with a complex and sometimes even relatable origin story. I can't help but cheer them on, despite them being nothing but punching bags for Batman to beat up on in the cartoons and comics. Aside from that, this would hold its own as a top tier crime / gangster miniseries even without The Penguin branding. For me, this taking place in the Batman universe is just the cherry on the top.
