> Dropped at Episode 14 and picked up Soul Land (Donghua) The Live Adaptation is crap ; poor CGI, shaky camera and unpleasant editing to start with even for someone who didn't read the novel & watched Donghua (Anime) prior as story is deviated highly even for the first 14 epsiodes until Shrek Academy
Hu Lie Na appears as per cast same person is Qian Ren Xue
The cast especially Xia Wu is not age appropriate as they are meant to be 6 yr old but they are in their mid/late 20's so when writer rewrote them he couldn't change characteristics of our cute bunny... Tang San in a genious with unparalleled intellect and knowledge from his past life but this adaptation he lacks seemingly both intelligence & techniques to easily fall into traps which is very infuriating. Don't be worried about 265 episodes of Donghua ; it is apprently true to the novel and each episode is only worth 15 minutes if you exclude the opening & ending credits. I would give the S2 "The Land of Warriors" a try if it stays true to the novel or atleast Donghua
