Principalement connue pour avoir interprété le personnage de Sarah Connor dans les films de science-fiction Terminator (1984), Terminator 2 : Le Jugement dernier (1991) et Terminator: Dark Fate (2019), elle est aussi célèbre pour son rôle de Catherine Chandler dans la série télévisée La Belle et la Bête, grâce auquel elle a été sélectionnée deux fois aux Golden Globes et une fois aux Emmy Awards.
