Well, the quality suffers in this second movie but it is still solid entertainment for fans of the genre.

I watched this once, several years ago. Thought I would give it another try so I could remember something about it. I remembered why I wouldn't ever watch it again. I quit 30 minutes in because of (1) the terrible acting and (2) how grossly unfit and unprofessional our military is portrayed. I also recall enough about it to remember there's a brutal, disgusting rape scene that served absolutely no purpose other than shock value, and I have no interest in watching that again. This is among the ever-increasing number of films that are on my _Couldn't or Wouldn't Finish 'em_ list. Nutshell: DON'T BOTHER.

First Movie was way better this one was to dark but worth a watch

I liked the first remake a lot, but this is straight up bad. The directing is awful and the screenplay is some of the worst things Wes Craven ever did.
