Bad movie. Not very Christmas-y at all. A lot of the traps make no sense. The villains being these professional spies compound that problem. Highlights are Scarlett Johansson playing the sister & whoever the brother was. The writing on those 2 is actually pretty good.

This one was always my favourite Home Alone growing up and I still really enjoy it despite how kinda dumb it is. I have many fond memories with this film and I think it's way better than the two ones before it. It's funny and actually scary at times. The kid actor is great, the storyline is fantastic, the traps are creative, and I completely forgot Scarlett Johansson was in this. Much fun indeed.

First rewatch since I seen in theaters when I was like 12y. This was one of my favourite movies back than. Now not so much. The problem with these bad guys they meant to ve like trained spies but as soon as they come close to a trap they change into idiots. Thr big difference with these and the Wet bandits from 1 & 2. They where kibd of goofy and silly. It worked much better on those first 2 movies.

For me the last "real" Home Alone film. It is quite the downgrade from the first two movies in the franchise, but you still get a good laugh from it. The "bad guys" are simply worse actors than Marv and Harry. The film itself also does not have the real Home Alone feel diento the cast being completely different.

Remembered used to like watching this as a kid but years later opinion has changed much since then. Given it’s set of different characters and strange international terrorist plot alienated much of the original Home Alone fanbase pretty much. The new kid isn’t much better than Kevin but he isn’t terrible unlike the next few kids in later HA films. Funnily that did not know this was Scarlett Johansson earlier film roles though she in movie for like 2 minutes.
