This is a decent movie. What red blooded young man hasn't fantasised about an older woman? Just like in this story, most of the time it's because they are dating a dumb immature chick at the time. In the end what every man needs is a woman who takes care of him. As we grow older and become more and more independent the age of the woman matters less and less. At my age I really do not care whether the woman is younger or older than me. I'm wealthy and independent enough to not give a damn about other people's opinions on relationships. If you liked this movie, there's another movie you might like named Cairo Time (starring Patricia Clarkson; https://trakt.tv/movies/cairo-time-2009). That one is a hidden gem with a similar vibe.

I watched this movie when it was released and again now...end if July 2025....it is a lovely movie the chemistry between Laura Dern and Liam Hemsworth is unbelievable...the story is something that has been told in different forms...two people different backgrounds different stories and age gap...find each other..see each other...love each other...inspire each other...is it possible. I say yes...will it last...I say I dont know...but the desire to be seen and understood and loved is universal and true....I really liked this movie. Maybe I m a romantic or maybe I believe in humanity.....in any case its a wonderful watch

I was enjoying this movie immensely until the third act where it went down the toilet. There is no way in hell that Liam Hemsworth would fall in love with Laura Dern. Characters of the movie of course. Completely unnecessary.
