I like the idea that this movie and To Me, The One Who Loved You are connected in such a way that both should be watched in order to understand the entire story. However, I believe this movie is the weaker of the two films, as the story in this one is not as compelling to me compared to the other. The idea behind these two movies was much better than the execution.

Be sure to watch this first before watching “To Me, The One Who Loved You”, otherwise, the impact of the two stories will be lessened.
