This was ridiculous and fun. If you can let go and just watch them throw every possible anime trope into a silly Batman cartoon movie, then give it a whirl. You'll have fun. If you're looking for a serious Batman cartoon why have you picked up one titled **BATMAN NINJA**? Why so serious?
I feel extremely sorry for those of you who expected a classical Batman movie in Japan. You got it all wrong. This is JAPANESE ANIMATION - WITH -> BATMAN (and Ninja) An entirely different concept. Appreciate it for what it is and not for what you expected it to be, because you're 100% wrong.
This must be the most ridiculous Batman movie ever created, and I had so much fun watching it. The plot is a huge mess, full of silly anime clichès (they had to include mechas because JAPAN, right?) that don't make any sense whatsoever; but the animation is kinda nice, even if after some time it feels like you are watching a very long videogame cutscene. It's really a missed opportunity and that's too bad, 'cause the designs and the concept behind the movie was actually very cool, and unfortunately I felt as if they wasted some good characters
(like, there are these three ninja guys that really stand out from the other basic ninjas of the "Batclan" or how is it called, but the movie never really use them and two of them don't even have any line of dialogue, so what was the point in making them?!)
. So I really hope all of this was just a big advertisement for a soon to be Batman fighting game...
This is the worst animated Batman movie I've ever seen.
