Like cheese sushi: it's interesting but not as fresh as the real thing. I went into Coupez! / Final Cut blind but almost immediately recognized that it was a remake of the excellent One Cut of the Dead. Sadly, that film was so original and well-made that a remake is superfluous and doomed to comparisons. I laughed out loud a couple of times in The Final Cut, but my nostalgia for the original sushi meant the cheese left a bad taste in my mouth.

Not as great as the original one, but a lot of fun! If you haven’t seen either, it’s best to go in blind.

This movie was a blast! Laugh out loud, funny, and also very touching and heartwarming.  I am a huge fan of the original and I love this movie just as much.

The description was misleading. Putting that aside, was a very fun movie

A very interesting film based on a rather brilliant and original idea. It reminded me of Memento and its chronological re-editing, many details make sense as the film progress. The writing work and the script position must have been a real challenge
