don't miss the extra at the end of the credit.
If you've liked the series then this would feel the same. But unlike the series the only negative part of the movie was how they skipped a few things in the end to lay emphasis on the last fight which ultimately created a few plot holes.
Enjoyable movie. This is basically a 1:1 adaptation of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 manga (with a few minor changes and additions to content). While some people say you can watch this without watching the TV series beforehand since this is a prequel and doesn't follow Yuji I would say the film is better if you've already watched the TV series.
MAPPA added scenes for characters like Nanami, Todo, Mechamaru etc. that weren't in the manga and doesn't really resonate if you don't know who they are from watching the TV series. The TV series would also help explain certain events in the film that I don't think makes sense if you have just watched the film (Panda's transformation & Gojo's hand sign when he's having the flashback about Geto)
.
A very good film and quite well paced. but it would have been possible to do something better with a better soundtrack and more intense fights. It's still a good movie with a good story.
As a prequel to the series,I had a lot of expectations on it.But I'd say it did lil to fill that.
