Quel secret se cache dans l'immeuble ?
Kosuke et Natsume ont grandi dans le même immeuble et sont amis d'enfance. Un jour d'été, les deux collégiens découvrent un bâtiment sur le point d'être démoli, et se retrouvent soudain en proie à un étrange phénomène, entourés d'un vaste océan à perte de vue ! Pourront-ils rentrer chez eux ? Leur voyage d'adieu commence…

A decently good movie with amazing animation and a good plot. Although the dialogues were a little bit too much for characters of such age but that's just how Japanese anime works.
What a beautiful movie... I didn't cry, you cried!
Its pretty great. There aren't a lot of anime movies as a whole that isn't either ghibli's more abstract movies or tie-ins to a series. Although it wasn't as personally touching as A Whisker Away was for me, It is still really good and worth a watch : If you enjoyed this, check out A Whisker Away, Your Name, Weathering with You, I Want to Eat your Pancreas and The Garden of Words :)
A bit disappointing. I loved the director's first film and when you compare it to this one, Jesus! I understand that he took a risk here and managed to develop a modern Shinto premise. However, he lost his way in the third act and became super boring. I hope that in the next film he keeps a little more control...
