Follement amoureux.
Au retour d'une première, les tensions accumulées et des révélations douloureuses poussent un réalisateur et sa compagne à faire l'examen de leur relation sentimentale.

Ok so the acting was alright, but basically I just spent almost 2 hours of my day watching an annoying couple argue over a thank you speech and all of this in a b&w filter. I mean...
At the end of this movie, I felt exhausted as much as the characters themselves... As it has already been said here between the comments, I think that this was intended by Levinson and therefore I cannot criticize him over this. I do recognize Malcolm & Marie as a great movie but it is not my cup of tea. It's absolutely not about boredom or some other bullshit I've read in other reviews. I personally think that I didn't really enjoy it because I felt no attachment to the characters for some reason. What a pity.
Pleasantly surprised with this one. I thought I would be bored but I really felt this couple. I didn’t feel like they were toxic at all. This felt like it could be real life for a lot of folks... IMHO
[Netflix] If a white critic tends to oversimplify an Afro-American director's movie message, can a white director understand an Afro-American director's motivations? It is one of the doubts that remain after this exercise in self-compassion. After a resounding and attractive first part, the rest of the film feels as if we are listening to the writer, not the characters, here subjected to the tyranny of a text that remains text, without completely being free to become part of them.
Ufff.. what an emotional rollercoaster this was. I'm afraid Zendaya looked like a teen to me and I couldn't relate to her character. Although she did an amazing job with the knife scene. I kind of saw a bit of Woody Allen wannabe in the whole movie. Still very raw to be an Allen. I wasn't bored during the movie, time went by quickly, so it's all good. Could relate to some discussions, maybe that is why i liked it. Good soundtrack too. And I like tenet guy too... his name is John David Washington, Solange!!! :) Learn his name ppl, he's going to be around much more and I'm glad he will.
