This movie manages to be worse than the first one. So bad that I was unable to finish the movie. Whatched one hour, and stoped it. The scenes with Cage transformed are simply ridiculous. Movie do not deliver any sense of action in the scenes. Run away from this one !
I think this is arguably the worst Marvel movie ever made, I might even rate it lower than Man-Thing.
I'm a little confused on what I just saw. I have a hard time hating superhero films because I love them all, despite the fact that Superman Returns and Green Lantern was awful I tried to find some kind of entertainment out of them, but Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance was just horrible. I'm a fan of both Crank films, but I don't believe the directors of those films should have been the directors of Ghost Rider 2. Their filming technique doesn't mix well for a superhero film. On top of the bad directing of the film, I felt like the story line was complete garage. Even more so, only 3D showings of the movie was playing in my area, I would have had to drive out of my county if I wanted to see it in 2D, so I didn't have much of a choice, but if you do decide to see it, don't see it in 3D if you have the choice, it was bad.
Yet another movie that is filled with great looking effects but forgets to bring along an interesting story. It's obviously possible to bring an appealing plot to superhero movies. It's been done many times to this point, so "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" really has no excuses for how bland it is. Then again, I am watching a Nicolas Cage movie. This gets a good rating from me because I loved the look of the Ghost Rider.
>"You! Worst fucking deal I ever made." Not sure how this got greenlit, but I guess I will start with the positive: Ghost Rider himself looks pretty cool. The flame effects on the vehicles he controls look gritty. The rest of the movie is pure garbage and had me laughing a lot.
