Synopsis
Vétéran du Vietnam et médecin, Johnny Woo est un homme paisible. Si tranquille qu'il refuse la bagarre en dépit de sa maîtrise des arts martiaux. En apprenant la mort de son frère dans un tournoi clandestin de kickboxing, Johnny Wood n'a pas d'autre choix que de serrer les mâchoires et les poings. Pris dans la tourment d'une guerre de gangs et de reglèments de compte, il trouve enfin les assassins de son frère

Ring of Fire is Kickboxing infused with gangs... and a Romeo & Juliet plot. Pretty decent as, no matter how you look at his acting skills, Don "The Dragon" Wilson knows his fighting. Maria Ford is as cute as ever, and the rest of the cast does OK. However, the story keeps this from being a proper classic. Way too much time spent on the romance, and not enough on the fighting. The dialogue is also atrocious in places. It was nice seeing Ring of Fire again, as I don't think I have seen it since the VHS days.
