It's been a long time since I watched Freaks (and it never really made that much of an impression on me). This then, was a remaking of what I thought was an old forgettable movie - and that seems to sum it up. It is done in the older style (washed out colours, scratchy sound track, old style music) so didn't even attempt to modernise the original. This was virtually unwatchable for me
