Good anime adaptation. But is a shame that Koyuki doesn't have a voice when "singing" and that it ends at the same part as the anime. I know that they cant adapt 100 chapters in 2 hours, but I would have love if they finished the movie beyond the anime ending.
A very faithful live action of the amazing anime "Beck". The actors really looks their parts and it really has that rock feel to it. As expected, the story is highly condensed to make it fit into a movie, but despite that, I think it works pretty well. The one very weird thing is that the one with the great singing voice in the anime gets muted when he sings here. I guess I understand why they do this, but it just looks very weird. It isn't too distracting though. Overall a great movie, all things considered, and they captured the spirit pretty well. Especially the last performance.
Better than expected. Watch the anime first, then the movie. And if you'd like to see the full story read the manga. Harold Sakuichi is sublime :)
