Synopsis
Marilou et Philippe se préparent avec jubilation à leur future retraite au Portugal. Ils sont en pleine forme et ont bien l’intention de profiter de la vie. Quand leur fille Cécile met son conjoint Arnaud à la porte, leurs projets tombent à l’eau car la garde des petits-enfants et tout un cortège de sollicitations s’abat sur eux.

_Joyeuse Retraite !_ (_Just Retired_) is a film about how the most important thing is family, yet the happiest, most centered and content character in the entire movie is the matriarch who parties in hospice and avoids her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren the length of the film. :person_shrugging_tone3: Apart from that, _Joyeuse Retraite !_ makes it clear 'cliché' is a French word, because this pile of stale sitcom humor wasn't even funny when it was new.
