Synopsis
A la suite d’un holocauste nucléaire, notre planète n’abrite plus que quelques survivants. Un astronaute de la NASA, Dylan Hunt, arrivé à cette époque après un séjour en hibernation, vit à Pax dans une société ayant préservé les derniers vestiges de l'Humanité. Ces survivants sont hélas menacés par des mutants dangereux, les Kreegs, et par la confédération de Ruth, une société matriarcale ou les femmes ont réduit les hommes à l’esclavage. Dylan Hunt est envoyé en mission secrète de Pax à Ruth...

It's sad that this universe wasn't made into a series, it had a lot of potential! in this one we get John Saxon as Dylan Hunt instead of Alex Cord (Genesis II) and I think it work way better. The movie portrays an interesting matriarcal society headed by an absolutely stunning Diana Muldaur which in my opinion is a highly underrated actress. Now don't expect CGI of the latest generation here this a Gene Roddenberry product and he used a lot of painted scenography. They packed the whole history in just 74 minutes and have a great pace, I really enjoyed it!
