Interesting glimpse into the life and changes of the people in Hong Kong 1980-2000 and how different our societies are that a historic drama/comedy on a prostitute is an important and much loved wholesome movie. However for me not being nostalgic or personally affected, it is mostly a bit messy and tacky Hong Kong comedy that is mostly entertaining but also partly tedious and heavy on the encouraging nationalistic sentiment.
