Love with all my heart to see animals made with CGI instead of real ones but the plot itself kinda lost me, not gonna lie, even if this is a Disney movie and it is intentended to be for the whole family, lowkey I was wishing
that Mack don't get away with that so easily but then again I'm sure that happened with the real one so...
Love everyone of the characters, we need more Disney movies like this!
It's an ok movie but with a very important message. Please don't go to circuses that use animals!!! Animals don't belong in cages and there's always abuse behind the scenes.

excellent to see as a family
[4.75 of 10] I feel like I am the only person who didn't like this film. Full disclosure - I watched it because I am going through all of the Oscar-nominated films & I wouldn't have watched it otherwise. I found the talking "live-action" animals very off-putting. While I have watched a bunch of animated films lately that I can identify with, this film was absolutely a movie made with exclusively kids in mind. It wasn't particularly bad but the storytelling was mediocre & the true story of Ivan is far more compelling yet less easily consumed by kids & family. The acting was pretty solid but I couldn't imagine the dog, Bob, as anything else but Danny DeVito which killed any immersion as his character is in a lot of the film. I will not be watching this again.
