Horror is the only genre that can effectively accommodate low-budgets and no-talent. Pieces is proof of this. It is so bad, it's good. But not mainstream good. It takes a special kind of twisted individual to appreciate it. Enjoyment of the macabre is not enough.

The kills are fun and honestly it's pretty hilarious. Fairly entertaining and fun for a slasher.

This film is delirious. Ok.

I was surprised by the level of gore, considering the time it came out. But there's not enough of it and the short length feels longer.
