Really nice character piece, only five minutes long, but it gives you a great introduction to 'Sapper' played by Dave Bautista. Probably my favourite of the three shorts made to advertise Blade Runner 2049.

Nothing compared to 2036. somehow nonsense that morton was so weak in the movie

I really love this kind of advertising. Only other movies that I remember had it are The Martian and the new Alien. Obviously only super big-budget movies like that can afford to do this but I enjoy these short films way more than a trailer. They show you the look and the feel of the story/movie overall without giving anything away.

Dave handles himself more than capable here, makes less sense how he gets bettered so easily in the main film

Morel of the film short: Don't mess with Dave Bautista's wife and kid. When Bautista said he was focusing more on acting for future improvement, he took it seriously. He really is improving as an actor. Like to see him as the lead in a dark and gritty film, not just a comedy with most wrestlers.
