this movie was good but not as good as the first one tho!! still pretty cool to watch over the weekends!
Not as good as the first one, and this relies a lot more on cliches. Frankly the whole movie feels like a "best of" collection of stuff taken from other movies. However it's kinda funny, so it does what a comedy is supposed to do :) I only wish it would be more original, but then maybe everyone would have hated it, as was the case with the first one.
This 'quacked' me up way too many times, and if it wasn't for the story playing out like one giant mashup of pure brain rot, I might've considered rating it even higher. Some of the gags age horribly, but they add personality, so I can't complain. The voice acting and characters are 'beak', and the subplot for the hatchlings is genuinely an overload of cuteness. I don't know how else to describe it. Brilliant animation, decent soundtrack, and honestly, give me 10 more sequels 'beakause', why not?
Still not a good movie, but slightly more tolerable than the first. It’s a bit more self-aware and absurd, and that helps carry it a little. The animation remains solid, but the characters still don’t leave any lasting impression. It’s forgettable fluff, cute enough for kids, mildly amusing for adults if you squint, but there’s no soul here. At best, this is a passable sequel to a movie that never needed one.
