Yep, after ten years it's still a terrible movie, but still very very funny at times :D Goes without saying that it's only funny if you've seen the movies that are parodied (Scream, I know what you did last summer, exorcist etc.) Loved the Budweiser commercial parody: Wazzaaaaaaapp!!
Amazing. Funny. Perfect movie for me. Fits my humor.
But why? _Scream_ worked perfectly fine already as a satire, this is mostly just a remake with more pervert/lowbrow comedy. It’s not parodying or commenting on the material like _Spaceballs_, it’s mostly a recreation. The jokes aren’t good at all, this is the type of 2000s low hanging fruit comedy that has generally aged like milk. Politically incorrect but without any sharp edge or challenging poignancy. It’s not dumb in a fun way, it’s dumb in a dumb way. It’s made for MTV teenagers who were still recovering from their Woodstock 99 hangover, and I couldn’t be happier that we’ve moved on from this. 1/10
Stupid, yet I laughed a lot. Most spoofs that followed were just awful and made you feel the need to shower afterwards.
I will rate this movie I know what you sucked last summer/10
