Loved it... full of emotions... few laughs... good message behind it.. I'd love a shed to blow up at the moment... good cast...
Its not easy being an adult, especially when your world turns upside down and you feel like giving up. This bittersweet comedy has its moments and offers some moments of truth.
I think this movie might get a bit more credit than it deserves. After all, it has some of the makings of a boilerplate indie movie - a quirky yet very pretty girl that is damaged and/or anti-social. Sprinkle in some conflict that arises based on those around her wanting her to grow up and some reminders of a tragedy and her past and voila, you've got yourself an indie movie. I've seen this done better and worse. The lead character was good but I don't know if anyone plays that role better than Aya Cash. follow me at https://IHATEBadMovies.com or facebook IHATEBadMovies
A poignant film with a beautiful and colourful juxdaposed backdrop, there were a few laughs but there were more tears. Jodie Whittaker's performance doesn't disappoint.
