I know this is generic as only generic gender swapping comedies can be, but for some darn reason, I like this one quite a lot. Both Zegers and Armstrong do a good job, and even though it's predictable as hell I had a good feeling when it ended. Makes for light hearted and fun hour and a half.

Typical teen movie but cute. Oh and...HOW IS KEVIN ZEGERS REAL!? Jared Leto meets Zac Efron?!

Utterly charmer of a Freaky Friday movie. The sexual tension was at a perfect level. Just enough to be interesting and believable without making it a movie about sexual tension. FF movies are about understanding and for the most part this does well. It colors inside the lines for the most part but like every Groundhog day movie I love that's not a bad thing. The chemistry between the leads needless to say was awesome. They really managed to inhabit for the most part the roles they were playing. FF movies don't really have strong villains just characters we find out more about when we see them from a same-sex perspective. The girl squad gets some love when Woody spends the sleep over with them in Nell's body. The boys on the other hand mostly get humor as we watch Horse make unintentionally homoerotic jokes at Nell in Woody's body. But still you come for the leads and this movie lives and dies by them and it's great. I'm not as big a fan of "virgin" as a character trait. It's what she is and not _who_ she is. That said while the description and opening don't do as great a job the movie as whole treats Nell as a nerdy girl who IS a virgin and not just a nerdy virgin.
