This movie deserves a 70% or higher rating here on Trakt. It's a really interesting conspiracy thriller with a star cast. Milla Jovovich and Pierce Brosnan are pitted against each other playing characters they play so well. What else can you ask for?

[TVE] An action film so unambitious that it is even endearing. James McTeigue, a collaborator of the Wachowski sisters, tries to salvage the unbelievable script, but he does so awkwardly and surprisingly with little talent for tension sequences (with a climax resolution that is anticlimax). Jovovich puts on autopilot and Brosnan at least tries to build something with his character.

Quite an entertaining watch. [spoiler]Had no idea before the final act that it was a New Year's movie, which made choosing it tonight slightly ironic [/spoiler].

Good movie, too bad it was too predictable with lack of tension.
