John Wayne leaves the Wild West and heads into the Irish countryside. This is a bit of a different role from the typical John Wayne, especially because his character tries to avoid conflict throughout the movie. In the end he has to fight in order to save his marriage and this results in the longest fight scene ever filmed! (At least at the time, not sure if that has since been exceded)

One of my favorites, great romantic movie.

Beautiful colors and plentiful shots of the Irish countryside. Plus lots of John Wayne drinking beer and punching people, both men and women.
