Synopsis
Curtis, séduisant trentenaire, est un as des tapis: roublard, charismatique, enfiévré, il met le feu dans chaque casino où il passe. Lorsqu'il se lie d'amitié avec Gerry, quadra au bout du rouleau, accroc aux jeux d'argent, il décide de lui venir en aide. Mais les dettes et menaces deviennent alors aussitôt son problème à lui. Reste une seule solution: tout miser sur un coup, en tentant le "hold up" du siècle.

Take a gamble on this film, you won't be disappointed, I bet my life on it you won't be... don't worry i don't have a gambling problem, i bet you on it.. ha Anyways after this film you'll be walking away with winnings, It's got great cast, and its a the price is right. ;) 5/10

These men win or lose on the roll of a dice. They gamble their lives to personal and financial cost. An engaging human drama that is worth taking a gamble on if your interested in the two leads.

It took me a little while to figure out how to watch this movie. For at least a third of the movie, I thought that Reynolds character had some kind of angle. Once I realized that wasn't the case, the movie turned into a rather interesting buddy road trip adventure. Also, the move is less about gambling and more about relationships, and I think the gambling was just a tool to that end.
