Although Terry O'Quinn's killer died quite obviously at the end of the first "Stepfather," in this sequel, he is once again on the hunt for an unsuspecting single mother. And even if the decision to bring O'Quinn back makes no sense at all, it was the right one. Because without the leading man, this franchise might as well have been abandoned. However, he is let down a bit by the rest of the cast. Apart from the later John Locke, I didn't find any of the actors particularly convincing. Lead actress Meg Foster, in particular, didn't manage to elicit any emotion from me. And iconic moments like "Who am I here?" from the first part are nowhere to be found either; instead, the movie is mostly generic. But thanks to O'Quinn, it's not a total disaster either.

Definitely not as good as the first one, but still good. Personally my problem with this one was the ending. If that was done differently, then I think this could have been excellent.
