Not sure how to review or comment on this movie but with MEH... because it was just that. It's a movie to watch on a slow lazy day to be honest. Nothing too special or exciting happening in it. Unless you are a huge undying fan of Bradley Cooper, or a cooking fanatic, you could pass on seeing this. There are better movies out right now to spend your time watching that are more worthwhile in my opinion.
This movie was so delightful! It is not Cooper's best performance nut it is overall good. Absolutely loved Sienna Miller's character and the whole movie had a great sense of harmony, and the cinematography was quite amazing it really made me hungry.
A good movie with an interesting story about how a person can find redemption and change. A positive point for me is that the romance is very light and secondary, allowing the main focus to be on the cooking and the protagonist, who is the true highlight of the film.
2.1 points -> Cinematography (0-3) 1.5 points -> Acting and Characters (0-2) 2.1 points -> Plot (0-3) 0.7 points -> Score (0-1) 0.7 -> enjoyed the movie. (0-1) Aka. 7.1 points --- I liked the progress of the characters, their growth. It's about food +1 ahah It's not the best about cooking, I thought it failed in a lot of things. There was room for much more. It was a bummer.
Beautiful food photography. Nice slow movie with a sensory side and some emotional content but not too emotional. Found it relaxing despite the drama.
