It's a shame, the potential wasted is incredibly wasted. The few scenes in space, the sets, and the nuclear explosions are way beyond Asylum's standards. The plot of the story is also good, an exciting what-if story. Unfortunately, not all of the actors are convincing in their performances, and the syndicated version lacks any lip-syncing. Furthermore, the voice actors sound like a telephone announcement. It's okay in the original version. When things get really exciting towards the end, you unfortunately suspect that there won't be a resolution to the story. And that's exactly what happens. It's a shame. I'm still pulling the Asylum joker and giving it an 5/10 based on that. The approach of the plot more than convinced me and kept me captivated throughout.
