Grumpy Old Men meet Planes, Trains and Automobiles.....and the result is hilarious!!

1998's The Odd Couple II sees Oscar Madison and Felix Ungar reunited for a premise so contrived it almost buckles under its own weight: their children are getting married, forcing the bickering duo on a disastrous road trip. While it certainly doesn't reach the comedic heights of their earlier collaborations, if you're a long-time fan of the unbeatable comedic chemistry between Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, there's still enough of their signature charm and well-worn banter to make it a fun, albeit somewhat forgettable, reunion.

I get why some people might not like it, but whenever I have a bad day, watching it always gives me a boost to keep going. Nearly every line in this film is a joke - and some of them land, some of them don't, but the **legendary** cast is there. Jack, Walter, Christine & Jean - **absolute icons**. Oscar and Felix chasing the speeding cars on the freeway at Los Pecos will never not be funny.
