Synopsis
Propriétaire d’une petite usine de tracteurs, Fernand Naudin mène une vie tranquille et sans histoire quand un télégramme l’appelle à Paris. Il arrive à temps pour recueillir le dernier soupir d’un ami de jeunesse, Louis dit « le Mexicain », qui lui confie ses affaires louches en même temps que la garde de sa fille Patricia. Épaulé par maître Folace, un curieux notaire et Pascal, première gâchette du « Mexicain », les ennuis commencent…

Years after watching this movie -- when it was already an old classic -- and still one of the best french movies: great casting, amazing dialogs, a catchy theme and didn't get bad with time, on the contrary! A must see!

A cult French movie. You can still hear quotes now and then even though many forgot where they come from. Writing is extraordinary.
