A little bit thin. You can tell it was based on a great book but it also comes off kind of like a made for TV movie somehow

An excellent character movie about a father who has what it takes to be successful professionally but that is exactly what does not work in his private life, where it is just destructive. A bit like a catch-22. Excellent performance by Robert Duvall.
